Many people have seen the new colorful Windows 8 interface. If you want to call it an interface, to me it looks more like a cheap art project from first grade student. Difficult to navigate, confusing on and on and on and on I can go.
Windows 8 is not for the faint of heart. Unless you install your own start button. I have used after testing about a dozen programs, chosen Start Menu 8.
It looks identical to the Windows 7 interface and gives the option to disable the colorful yet disappointing Metro GUI.

All in all once a start button program is installed Windows 8 is a great, but first impressions are the most important and the Metro UI made me cringe.
